This year’s Xmas lecture of the Department of Physics will be on the Star of Bethlehem. ECAP astronomers from Remeis-Observatory will discuss the different theories that have been brought forward to explain this phenomenon, including close planetary conjunctions, comets, or even stellar explosions. The lecture will discuss and illustrate these explanations. It will take place on December 12th at 8.15 pm in lecture hall HG.
