Research activities

I am active in the KM3NeT collaboration with focus on Open Science and acting as chair of the Open Science Committee charged with the development of interfaces and procedures for data sharing in KM3NeT. As neutrino lead editor of the VODF initiative and contributor to the High Energy Interest Group in the IVOA my work focuses on the establishment of common data standards and promoting FAIR data sharing. Having previously worked on machine learning in ANTARES, I am currently developing the LLMTuner package which aims to make neutrino data accessible for open science employing large language models, supported by the Emerging Talents Initiative of the FAU. I have previously been employed on various projects in the context of the European Open Science Cloud like the ESCAPE OSSR development and the EVERSE project on research software quality.
