Directions

The ECAP Laboratory is conveniently reached by bus, bike, e-scooter and taxi – it is right next to the bus station Staudtstraße (hosted by buses 20 from downtown Erlangen going to/from Nuremberg, and 280 going to the S-Bahn station ‘Paul-Gossen-Straße’).
Erlangen is a biking city, there are different rental companies e.g. VAG Rad (via https://www.nextbike.de ) but also many e-scooter companies.

Arrival by train

Informations about the train connections to Erlangen can be found on the pages of the Deutsche Bahn . The nearest bus stop Staudtstraße is just outside the main entrance of ECAP Laboratory, alternatively the bus stop `Sebaldussiedlung` is just a 5 mins walk away.

Some choices:
At the train station, take bus 287 (direction ‘Sebaldussiedlung’) and ride to the end of the line (Sebaldussiedlung, ride time 15-20 min), you can then walk through the campus to the ECAP Laboratory.
From Arcaden, you can take the bus 20 to Staudstraße.

Alternatively, you can use the ‘S1’ from Nuremberg central station and change at the station ‘Paul-Gossen-Straße’ into the bus 280 that takes you to ‘Staudtstraße’, right next to the ECAP Laboratory.

The bus schedule is available online on the pages of the VGN (Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg). Use the stops ‘Bahnhofplatz’ and ‘Sebaldussiedlung’ or ‘Staudtstraße’ in Erlangen to get information about the bus connections.
