LOFAR + SKA Cosmic Ray Workshop
LOFAR is the world’s leading low-frequency telescope and the Square Kilometre Array the major radio telescope currently under construction. Both can and are being used for astroparticle physics. Members of the Key Science Project Cosmic Rays (LOFAR) and the SKA Science Working Group High Energy Cosmic Particles came together at ECAP for three days in May to discuss new methods and developments.
ECAP is already responsible for the LOFAR station in Unterweilenbach (Landkreis Aresing), which is planned to be upgraded as part of LOFAR 2.0 in 2027.
